NetBet Review

  1. Netbet Review: Getting to know Netbet

Netbet is a sportsbetting and online casino brand that may not be that familiar to many gamblers. We take an in-depth look at the brand in our latest Netbet review. We also offer our expert opinions on their top features and offerings including eSports betting, casino games and more. Our Netbet test will also look at how the brand fair against other betting sites. This test compares similar features to other brands including AllYouBet, RealDealBet and YouWin. We also examine possible scams and general Netbet opinions. Our full Netbet review will also guide you through basics including banking and opening an account with the brand.

All about Netbet registration

Our Netbet test showed that you’ll have no trouble getting started with the brand. The homepage features a big ad for their ‘Get a £50 free bet” offer, which takes up the entire page. The Netbet bonus code ‘Welcome50’ for the offer is featured at the bottom left of the page, with a brief explanation of the steps to register, deposit funds and receive your bonus. Although there is a few specific buttons on show, in actuality the entire bottom of the page is a link to the registration form.

NetBet

Step One

The first step is to set up your NetBet account info, including your username, e-mail address (keep in mind you can only use one e-mail address per account), preferred currency (an important part of any site where money transfers are used) and your password. Remember to keep your password safe by using upper and lower case letters, along with numbers and other icons.

Make sure your password is not something that could be guessed by an outside source. This would also mean they have access to your funds, as well as the ability to deposit and bet large sums of money without your permission. Your country is automatically recognised by the site and the currency is automatically uploaded, so unless the site makes some kind of mistake, that part will be automatically completed for you.

Step Two

Next you’ll need to enter some basic information about yourself, such as your gender, name, last name, your date of birth, your full address including post code, town and street, as well as two phone numbers (landline and mobile). This information is important in order to help you stay updated about bonus offers, as well as it being necessary to have contact information in case there is an issue with your account, such as suspected unauthorised access. There is of course a limit on the options for your date of birth to ensure you are over the age of 18 and are legally allowed to be on the site.

NetBet registration

Step Three

Finally, you’ll need to include your promotional code, which can be found on the homepage or through a quick Google search. You’ll also have the opportunity to refer a friend by their username if that is how you came to join the site. Don’t forget to complete this part of the registration, as this entitles them to a £50 bonus, which you’ll also be able to access if you refer other friends. This bonus goes on indefinitely if you have enough friends, with a £100 bonus for every 5 people you recommend to the site.

Step Four

This is the end of the registration form and the conclusion of our Netbet test in this section. The process is somewhat different to some other sites, such as Coral, which include the bank details and deposit forms as part of the registration process. This isn’t really a problem, more of a preference thing. Some people prefer to get all their details out of the way and start playing for cash immediately, while others like to take a tour around the site before they commit to adding funds. But this way, you’re not pressured to add funds early, and you can easily add your bank details and deposit cash at a later time.

2. Netbet test: How the NetBet £50 free bonus works

Our Netbet review revealed that, getting the NetBet bonus is included in the registration and the bonus code is easy to find on the opening page. Simply enter ‘WELCOME50’ into the promotional code section in the registration form. That’s it: you’ve registered your bonus.

NetBet £50 free bet offer

Once you deposit funds, you’ll get 50% of your deposit extra up to £50. That is the maximum you can receive using this offer, even if you bet more than the maximum amount.

It’s not the largest offer available on the net but it does only require a reasonable stake to be placed (x1 rollover) for you to receive your bonus. Considering many sites require you to bet up to 35 to 40 times that amount in order to receive your bonus, this is actually a pretty great deal. The quality of the offer really depends entirely on how much you need to bet to receive it. This is a far better offer than say, a £250 bet that requires a rollover of 40 times to receive the bonus. The bet you make also need to have minimum odds of 1.60 in order to qualify. So there’s no pushing for the bonus by betting on sure fires.

After registering with Netbet

Once you register for the bonus, you’ll only have 24 hours to make a deposit, otherwise your bonus code will expire. This is one of those instances when separating deposits from the registration is a bad thing. It’s easy to forget the exact date you opened an account and  you can end up losing your bonus.

Other basic rules apply, for example only one customer can use one welcome bonus. Duplicate accounts are forbidden and will result in winnings being removed, even if those winnings were settled before duplicate accounts were recognised. One account means one username, one household, one set of account details and one IP address.

3. The NetBet bonus summary

Betting offer at NetBet

The amount of sports markets and casino gaming is a key aspect of our Netbet review. NetBet has a terrific selection of sports and casino betting. All presented via a super slick website, it’s no surprise NetBet appears on many top ten sports betting websites. It also includes a live casino. In terms of variety, NetBet can easily match the biggest players in the industry.

Categories available on NetBet include:

  • Football
  • Horse Racing
  • Cricket
  • Tennis
  • Rugby
  • Darts
  • Rugby League
  • Golf
  • Basketball
  • American Football
  • Baseball
  • Ice Hockey
  • Handball
  • Snooker
  • Pool
  • Cycling
  • Speedway
  • Volleyball
  • Boxing
  • Winter Sports
  • Beach Volleyball
  • Olympic Games
  • Aussie Rules Rugby
  • MMA
  • Gaelic Football
  • Gaelic Hunting

It’s a terrific selection. The casino has a similarly fantastic range. It also has special unique events you can bet on in the United Kingdom, the United States and Denmark, along with the betting highlights of the day, a selection of live bets, upcoming bets and a selection of the most popular sports to bet on that day.

4. How to make NetBet deposits

We have included a useful guide to banking with the brand in our Netbet review. To add deposits to your NetBet account, you’ll need to log in to your account (or register if you have not yet registered before). From here, you’ll be able to see the play area and select the ‘Cashier’ button, which is located at the bottom right hand corner of this page.

NetBet deposit options

You can then add funds through the following payment methods:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Clickandbuy
  • Paysafecard
  • NETELLER
  • Skrill
  • Bank wire transfers

Please note, Netbook charges 2% for credit card deposits under £100, or whatever the equivalent total is in other currencies.

5. Netbet live streaming and betting

NetBet live betting

Live betting is put front and foremost on the NetBet homepage, with the best ongoing deals for you to pick from. You can live bet on pretty much any sport you can think of, as well as live bet in the casino. The casino also features a live stream, which brings the casino experience to your home.

Unfortunately, there is no live streaming of sports, which is a real shame considering how well this site manages to match the big players in the industry in so many different aspects.

6. Scams at NetBet?

While there have been scams rumoured around NetBet, there appears to be little to nothing to support these claims. As with all large bookmakers that have been around for a long time, there’s usually the odd claim of scamming but we’ve found nothing to suggest that any of these claims are true. The majority of opinions seem to point to a solid and reliable betting site.

7. All about NetBet odds

NetBet offers good, competitive odds without many bells and whistles. There’s no offers available to enhance your odds or anything similar, but they offer a solid deal. The best offers are always easy to find thanks to a well designed site.

An example of NetBet odds are:

Hull City 23/20 (x49/20) Derby County 23/10

Man Utd 10/19 (x16/5) Bournemouth 11/2

Cleveland Cavaliers 10/11 Toronto Raptors 10/11

8. Netbet rating and summary

NetBet logo

NetBet has a sterling reputation and it backs this up with a good selection of offers, alongside the excellent welcome bonus. Although our Netbet test did show that it pays to be careful to read the fine print of the offers, as often various games are excluded from the offer.

It’s selection of games is top notch, with decent odds and an easy to navigate site. It also includes a live casino, which truly makes it a diverse experience. It does however come across as a site that has very little to distinguish itself from other successful sports betting sites, like Ladbrokes or Titanbet, in terms of its look and operation. The problem here is it is in danger of getting lost in the pack. There’s also some customers who have reported issues with customer service and the lack of live streaming is also a shame.

NetBet is a good sports betting site and a good casino site. However, it falls short of greatness and can very much feel like a lesser version of other sites. Good is the best word to describe this site: a decent choice when it comes to playing online. General Netbet opinions are also good as is our overall Netbet rating.
