Betcart Online Sportsbook and Casino Review

Betcart Review

Betcart offers a combined sports betting site and online casino and is a fresh alternative for the UK market. While the brand may not be as familiar as other betting sites, our Betcart review will hopefully shed some more light on the brand. Read our expert opinions on key issues including scams, support and betting markets. We also guide you through the sign up process and show you how this betting operator is structured.

How to get started with Betcart

We kick off our Betcart review by looking at the brand website and sign up process. First of all, you’ll need to head to the Betcart website from your browser or simply Google the name to find the search result. From here, you’ll be taken to the homepage. We always recommend having a good look round the site before you start in order to get a feel for the place and generally to see if this is a site you’ll have fun with.

Betcart at a glance

There’s certain things we can all agree are positives for a gaming site. These include reliability, good customer service, fair games, game variety, enticing promotions, easy banking options and reputation. These are essential qualities that ever gamer wants in a casino site.

However, while sites do vary in these qualities, we live in a world where the likes of William Hill and Ladbrokes are met with serious competition by smaller sites such as Royal Panda, it’s fair to say customers are spoiled for choice in the betting world. So, the design, the feel and the look of the site is very important in making your decision.

Because while many sites offer good service, the best sites have their own personalities and hopefully a personality you like. This is much more a matter of preference than other factors, but we’ll do our best to give you an idea of what’s on offer. If you just happen to have a different preference, there’s plenty of other reviews you can take a look at to find something you do like.

Not to mention, making sure you spend a bit of time with the site before signing up can give you a good idea of how well the site is made. If the site design is shoddy, there’s a fair chance that will reflect the effort put into other areas of the site as well. So look around and as well as getting a feel for the personality of the site, be critical of what you see in terms of how well the site is put together technically.

Betcart homepage

Betcart homepage

Once you land on the Betcart website, you’ll be greeted by a pleasant enough homepage. Everything is big, friendly and bouncy. Even the top toolbar, which includes the logo, Log In and Join Now options, seems super sized compared to the hundreds of other sites that use that layout. Scroll down and you can “choose your passion”. Below there’s the option to choose between Sports, Casino, Live Casino and Games. All of these come with some rather dashing images relevant to their choice.

Lower down on the page, there’s some extra links, which include promotions, affiliates, mobile & tablet, results, Terms & Conditions), as well as Popular Pages, Top Leagues, Stats and Results, and Help. There’s also card options, language options and contact information.

Look and feel

Everything here lights up as you hover over it, making this section of the page come to life: all except some information regarding the licensing and the cookies on the site. It sounds like a lot of information to take in at once but actually having some relevant and interesting links here draws attention to a portion of the page that is usually ignored. And that’s everything! It’s a terrific looking page that provides a masterclass in the use of space.

Betcart homepage footer

The rest of the site isn’t quite as minimalist. The sportsbook follows the layout of most of its competitors, with links of the sports to the left, a betting slip to the right and relevant bets in the middle. It is however, produced with quite a bit of flair and colour, with its logo’s blue and green colour motif splashed across the page.

The images at the page’s centre also employ this technique. With black and white backgrounds pulling focus to the colour, it uses its graphics just as effectively as it does its space.

The only downside is this doesn’t change much for other sections. The Casino, Games and Live Casino sections follow the same layout. And while this is still is an attractive and easy to follow way of navigating the site, the lack of distinction between these pages is a bit of a letdown. Other sites, like Foxy Casino, do much more to change up the different elements on their sites. Overall though, it’s a beautiful and brilliantly designed site.

Signing up

Like what you see? If so, you can sign up to Betcart simply by clicking the bright green Join Now button at the top right of your screen. From here, you’ll be taken to a lovely looking sky blue sign up sheet, where you can get started by inputting the relevant information into the three fields.

First up, you’ll need to input your account details, which includes your Username and Password. Remember to keep your password safe by using a random selection of numbers and characters. Make sure this is distinct from any other password you may use and is not something that could be reasonably guessed. You’ll also want to pick your currency and the way in which your odds are displayed. This is a terrific bit of detail that very few other sites utilise. Remember to enter your referral code if applicable.

Next up, you’ll need to input your personal details. This includes your name, Date Of Birth, Email, Country, Address and Phone Number. There’s only one account allowed per person so make sure you are the only person using this information. Finally, enter a security code and you are good to go.

How does the €250 bonus offer work?

Our Betcart review also looks at the brands bonus offers and promotions. The welcome offer is a 50% bonus of up to €250. This doesn’t immediately strike us as the biggest welcome deal ever offered, but that all depends on the terms and conditions. As they say, don’t judge a book by its cover and don’t judge a welcome bonus by the cash alone.

Betcart welcome bonus

First of all, your minimum deposit is €15, which is a little higher than some other sites but is fairly standard. However, the headline here is that your deposit only needs to be rolled over six times in order for you to receive the money.

The minimum odds for this is 1.60, which is fairly reasonable. The deposit must be met within 45 days, which is pretty generous considering the rollover amount. The only requirement to receive this bonus is the deposit, no Betcart bonus code is necessary. Once you’ve done that, you’re on your way. Overall, this is an excellent welcome offer.

The betting offer at Betcart

As mentioned, Betcart offers a sportsbook with a casino, live casino and, according to most Betcart opinions, a terrific array of games. Naturally we are unable to accurately produce odds for the games or casino, as there are too many variables but rest assured, they are all confirmed to be fair and random.

Our Betcart review includes a look at the brand’s live casino. Betcart offers both live betting and live streaming in that regard. It has extensive live betting selection for sports and live streaming for 10 different sports and more than 12000 events. It’s live features are a full house. Top marks in our Betcart test.

Scams at Betcart?

You’d probably be very surprised to hear that a site which is so well designed, with such great, fair deals and extensive options would be a scam site, wouldn’t you? Well, prepare to be underwhelmed because it isn’t.

There’s no suggestion that Betcart is in any way a scam site in any regard. Admittedly it’s a new site, so  its reputation isn’t really set in stone yet but as of now, there is no evidence or negative opinions to suggest that Betcart is anything other than reliable and trustworthy.

The odds at Betcart

Being a relative newcomer, Betcart hasn’t yet amassed much of a reputation regarding odds. However, our Betcart test found them to be competitive enough. Here’s some examples of the odds on offer at the Betcart sportsbook:

Cjealsea vs Liverpool – (1) 2.30 (x) 3.60 (2) 1.37 (12) 1.62 (x2) 1.23

Oceane Dodin vs Sachia Vickery (1) 1.16 –  (2) 5.19

Surrey Lions vs Warwickshire (1) 1.76 – (2) 1.95

Betcart rating and summary

Betcart logo

Ultimately, our Betcart review found a beautifully designed site that is as easy to navigate as it is to look at. It might not have the most distinct style, it doesn’t have the personality of Rizk Casino for example, but it does the simple things with great flair.

Its games are fun, varied but most importantly fair. The welcome bonus might not blow you away at first but with a 6x betting requirement, it has few competitors in terms of value. Betcart opinions on the web also find this feature to be one of the most popular. The only ones that beat it are the likes of Grosvenor Casino’s 1x wagering requirement, and that’s only for a bonus of £20. Our Betcart test also found that key test areas performed well overall.

This is a new player in the sportsbook world and if this is a sign of things to come, the future looks very, very bright for Betcart and our Betcart rating is suitably well above average.
